DONATION INFORMATION and PICTURES
Below are a picture of myself and my three favorite Parrots, these are not pictures of my birds ,however I do own one of each. My birds are these:
A Blue and Gold MaCaw named BABY 2 years old
A Umbrella Cockatoo named CRYSTAL 14 years old
A Congo African Grey named HAWKEYE 40 years old
All three are permanent residence here and a very rewarding addition to my family.

As with any rescue donations are always greatly needed and appreciated. If you wish to make a donation please ues the contact info on the first page of this site. THANK YOU!!
Donations we can use are as follows:
CAGES ( for all sizes of Birds/Parrots)
FOOD ( for all breeds of Birds/Parrots)
TOYS and CAGE ACCESORIES ( for all sizes of Birds/Parrots)
CASH donations can be made and are very helpful for vet checks on new intakes and the cost of care while forever homes are being located.
We offer the following programs here at EFFR; For those of you giving up a Bird/Parrot, we will take him or her at no cost to you and only ask that you try to send things with your feathered friend that will help make their transition better for them (i.e. cage, toys, special instructions). We also have FOSTER TO ADOPT, this is we will foster your Bird/Parrot and screen potential homes for you for a fee that will be set based on the needs of the Bird/Parrot and their owners. Now for those of you not giving up your Bird/Parrot we offer help with getting your feathered friend to vet visits (i.e. setting appointments, and transportation to and from the vet) Bird/Parrot Sitting there is a set fee of $10.00 a day for this and we ask that you send things with your feathered friend to make their stay with us comfortable(i.e. toys special instructions, and a traval cage). We are also happy to assist you with BEHAVIOR CORRECTION as we can (i.e. Biting, Screaming, Feather Chewing/Plucking) there will be a fee for this only if we can correct the behavior, again this fee will be based on the needs of the Bird/Parrot and their owners. If we cannot correct the behavior there will be no fee and we will try to direct you to someone who can help, as we want to see Birds/Parrots stay with their owners when possible.
